Grafana Labs is hiring a UK-based remote Software Engineer to help build and operate the new Foundations “Metal” squad, provisioning storage, networking, and Kubernetes clusters on physical hardware for Grafana Cloud.

Grafana Labs, the company behind Grafana Cloud, is a 100% remote organization with team members across 40+ countries. This role is remote from the United Kingdom (candidates in the UK, Spain, and Ireland only) and sits within the Foundations group’s Internal Engineering Platform.

As part of the new “Metal” squad, you’ll manage the physical Metal environment from bare metal to Kubernetes, building and provisioning resources like storage, networking, and Kubernetes clusters in new environments starting with Grafana Labs’ own hardware. You’ll work collaboratively in a remote-first, consensus-driven team and participate in on-call, with experience across distributed systems, operations, and datacenter environments valued.
