Grafana Labs is hiring a remote Software Engineer (Platform Metal) in Ireland to help build and operate a new foundations squad managing physical “metal” infrastructure and Kubernetes environments for Grafana Cloud.

Grafana Labs, the company behind Grafana Cloud, is a 100% remote organization hiring for a Software Engineer – Platform Metal based in the Republic of Ireland (remote; candidates in the UK, Spain, and Ireland only). Grafana Cloud is a fully managed observability platform used by more than 10,000 organizations.

In this role, you’ll join a new Foundations “Metal” squad in the Internal Engineering Platform group, responsible for provisioning and managing storage, networking, and Kubernetes clusters in new environments—starting with Grafana’s own physical hardware—while operating the full lifecycle of the platform (including on-call) in a distributed, remote-first team.
