Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Grafana Backend Services) for a remote role in Sweden, building and operating backend services that deliver Grafana to both on‑prem and cloud customers at scale.

This Senior Backend Engineer role sits in the Grafana Backend Services squad and is open to candidates located in Sweden (also listed: UK, Germany, Spain, and Ireland).

You’ll help deliver new backend functionality end-to-end—from contributing to design documents and evolving the API codebase through to operating the services you run (including on-call). The squad owns components such as the Grafana Backend API, the CLI tool, and orchestration infrastructure; you’ll collaborate across squads, mentor teammates, and can use AI coding assistants within security guidelines as part of the daily workflow.
