AlphaSense is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to improve the Core Developer Experience for ~400 engineers globally by evolving internal tooling, inner-loop workflows, and AI-enabled SDLC practices from a remote UK position.

AlphaSense is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join its Core Developer Experience (Core DX) team, focused on making AlphaSense an exceptional environment for building software. You’ll design and evolve tools, environments, and workflows that improve the speed and quality of local development feedback, supporting fast, reliable iteration for approximately 400 engineers worldwide.

This role owns the inner loop of development (writing, building, testing) alongside the internal developer platform, self-service tooling, and developer productivity insights. You’ll collaborate with Cloud DX to ensure a seamless SDLC experience from local development to production, and embed AI into day-to-day engineering workflows—spanning code authoring, debugging, and testing—while maintaining consistent quality and safe adoption at scale.
