AlphaSense is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Helsinki to build and scale the company’s identity lifecycle, authentication, and authorization platform with security at its core.

Join AlphaSense’s User Management team, a product platform group that owns the full identity lifecycle across the company—from provisioning and managing users to authenticating and authorizing access. Based in Helsinki, the team builds the identity and access infrastructure that other engineering teams rely on and serves as a key security guardrail for the platform.

In this senior role you’ll take technical ownership of scalable IAM systems, partnering closely with security teams in an environment governed by SOC2 and GDPR. The stack and protocols include Java, Spring Boot, SQL, GraphQL/gRPC/REST, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes/Helm, and standards such as OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, SAML 2.0 (enterprise SSO federation), SCIM, and RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC, with event-driven patterns and strong automated testing practices.
