AlphaSense is hiring a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to independently design, automate, and operate security controls across its multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) and Kubernetes environments in a remote UK role.

AlphaSense builds AI-driven market intelligence and search used by over 6,000 enterprise customers. In this role, you’ll join the cloud security team to improve the security of AlphaSense’s cloud environments, owning projects end to end from identifying issues through shipping and operating controls.

You’ll design and automate security controls across AWS and GCP, scale cloud security tooling, investigate and remediate vulnerabilities, and build zero-trust access controls for cloud and Kubernetes. You’ll also partner on detections and incident response, embed standards into CI/CD and GitOps workflows, support compliance needs (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR), and lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, and code reviews; candidates should bring 5+ years’ relevant experience, Kubernetes and container security skills, infrastructure-as-code experience, and automation ability (e.g., Python).
