AlphaSense is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Helsinki to define and build shared, API-first product platforms that power multiple product surfaces, integrations, and agentic workflows.

AlphaSense builds AI-driven market intelligence and search used by over 6,000 enterprise customers. As a Principal Software Engineer on Product Platforms, you’ll help define and deliver shared, API-first platforms with well-designed APIs, clear contracts, reliability guarantees, and roadmaps driven by real product needs—consumed by internal teams, external integrations, and AI agents.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role (not people management or purely advisory architecture). You’ll design, build, and evolve high-scale APIs; lead development of agentic workflows (orchestration, state management, tooling, integration patterns); drive API standards through implementation and reviews; and partner with Product, Platform, and SRE to ensure APIs are reliable, observable, secure, and scalable.
